Hello, friends! Jason Melick here... I'm terribly sorry for
the lack of updates to the website. It's been quite some time
now since there have been any new updates and for that you
have our sincere and humble apologies. As you may have guessed
there's been a lot going on since our last update and I'm here
to personally give you the inside scoop! First, I have great news to share that should hopefully explain part of the information blackout... in February my wife gave birth to our first child and I'm now the proud father of a very beautiful baby girl! She's been a great blessing to our lives and I'm thankful for her. So that's a large part of how I've been spending my time lately. On the musical front, I've had several irons in the fire over the past several months. I'm currently working on finishing a new solo CD. It's been in the works for quite some time now, and I really hope to have it completed and ready for release by the end of the Summer. I'm very excited about it and can't wait for it to be finished. I'm also in the middle of scoring music for a short film called "A Thousand Words". I've teamed up with the Tempered Zealot team of Jerod Brennen and Justin Lewis for their most recent independent film. It's been a lot of fun so far. I've also written and recorded a new song especially for the film. As soon as the final version is mixed and ready, I'll make sure it's posted here on the site. Everything is coming along well with the film so far and we're hoping to have it wrapped up by the end of July. I'll be sure to keep you posted as details develop. So, what's happening with the rest of the band? Well, unfortunately, not much. For now, Toggle will remain on a bit of an extended hiatus while I take care of some other things with my solo album and film scoring. Hopefully, there will be some updates on Toggle sooner than later. In the meantime, hang in there and I'll keep you posted on the latest. - Jason |
